NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- New York Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer, himself a leading voice for more gun-control, has come out against television ads chastising Senate Democrats for voting against the Manchin-Toomey amendment that would have expanded background checks.

“The mayor of New York City putting ads against people in red states is not going to be effective,” Schumer said.

He was talking about television time purchased by Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), a group founded by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

This week, Bloomberg raised the ante by urging Democratic campaign contributors who live in New York to stop writing checks for Democrats who voted against a plan to expand background checks on gun buyers, including Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor. Schumer is former chairman of the Senate Democratic Campaign Committee.

NSSF has run radio ads in several states in support of these senators to help counter the effect of the MAIG commercials.

About NSSFThe National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms industry. Its mission is to promote, protect and preserve hunting and the shooting sports. Formed in 1961, NSSF has a membership of more than 6,000 manufacturers, distributors, firearms retailers, shooting ranges, sportsmen’s organizations and publishers. And that azz hole probably thinks he’s a patriot. Maybe a higher tax on the stupid rich is a good idea.

I say run Bloomberg out of the country and let him find a country that will take him. Better yet he could just go buy another country and move there. He can have the rest of the world to screw up and the rest of us can live a happier life here.

Gotta love watching liberals eat their own!!! This weeks republican victory of a state senate seat, in a democratic stronghold of Connecticut, shows exactly what Bloombergs tyrannical nature will get his party. Noone likes a spoiled little rich D-bag who won’t play unless he gets all the marbles. Unfortunately, the lineup coming up behind him doesn’t bode too well for New Yorkers either.

I still say run bloomberg, out of the country, on a rail. If you can find a country, that will take him.
