This is the final step in a transition that began in 2009 when Mr. Tobiassen was named President, and company founder Mr. Danielson assumed the role of CEO after leading Crimson Trace since its beginning in 1994.
“This is something that Lane and I have been planning for years,” stated Mr. Danielson. “He has been faithfully performing the duties of CEO and well deserves the title to match.” Going forward, Mr. Danielson will focus his work time, energy and talents on future product development technologies and will continue to be an industry ambassador for Crimson Trace.
