FORT SMITH, AR –-(Ammoland.com)- Cool off this week in the snow-covered woods of Missouri where a fine shooting RWS pellet rifle and a tin of pellets turns Steve Criner into the “Squirrel Soldier”.
On an airgun hunt of this nature, flat trajectory, the right pellet, and an air rifle that you’re humanely accurate with make all the difference.
After the hunt, show host, Rossi Morreale spends time with the American Airgun Hunter, Jim Chapman, to learn more about a big bore air rifle, which some online have deemed “the beast”.
Online reviewers like its awesome power and report that it propels a .50 caliber, 200 grain lead pellet accurately at 50 yards. Jim gives Rossi a recount of his experience with the rifle.
Rounding out episode two, Rossi and the six Airgunner Challenge contestants kick off the competition by engaging our version of a 3-gun competition involving a German-made CO2 action pistol, Ruger break barrel, and a new pre-charged pneumatic supplied by Pyramyd Air. Strategy and marksmanship vary, but it’s a close finish in the first challenge of a shoot-out for $5000 cash from Umarex USA.
