FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- On behalf of our nearly five million members across the country,the National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) is proud to endorse Steve Lonegan for U.S. Senate.
Mr. Lonegan is the only candidate in this race who will stand against Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) for your Second Amendment rights in the U.S. Senate.
In response to the NRA-PVF Federal Candidate Questionnaire, Mr. Lonegan stated he supports national right to carry reciprocity and opposes the failed semi-auto ban. In addition, Mr. Lonegan opposes so-called “universal” background checks, which in reality criminalize the transfer of a firearm between honest, law-abiding Americans.
Because of his responses to the Federal candidate questionnaire and commitment to your Second Amendment rights, Mr. Lonegan is “AQ” rated by the NRA-PVF.
In stark contrast, Mayor Cory Booker is rated an “F” by the NRA-PVF. Mayor Booker is President Obama’s and Mayors Against Illegal Guns founder/financier Michael Bloomberg’s dream candidate. As Mayor, Cory Booker endorsed the Obama/Bloomberg so-called “universal” background check system, a system that would criminalize the transfer of firearms between honest, law-abiding gun owners. Furthermore, Eric Holder’s Department of Justice reports that this would be unenforceable without implementing a national gun registry.
In addition, Booker supports Senator Dianne Feinstein’s failed semi-auto ban, designed to ban commonly owned semi-automatic firearms used for hunting, recreational shooting and self-defense.
No wonder Obama considers Booker “an important partner in [his] efforts.”
