MINNEAPOLIS, Minn –-(Ammoland.com)-  ATK Sporting Group introduces an open innovation program through which inventors may submit product ideas for possible development.

The Idea Exchange provides a gateway for individuals and companies outside ATK to share their proposals by submitting non-confidential information through a new website: www.innovation.atk.com.

ATK will evaluate each submission. If ATK selects an idea, it could work with the ideators to ultimately develop and market game-changing products and technologies under iconic brands such as Federal Premium Ammunition, Savage Arms, BLACKHAWK!, Bushnell and more.

Those interested in potentially working with ATK on industry-leading ammunition, firearms, tactical gear, reloading, optics and shooting accessory products must visit www.innovation.atk.com and fill out a concept submission form. This preliminary, non-confidential assessment tool allows ATK to consider each idea for development. If an idea fits selection criteria, ATK will contact the individual who submitted it to discuss the concept further.

In addition to the website, ideators can stop by the reception desk at the ATK booth (14551) at SHOT Show 2014 to be directed to the Ideation Center and speak to an official about submitting ideas.
With collaboration like this, good ideas become reality. By leveraging the global reach and development horsepower of ATK, passionate inventors can commercialize their concepts faster, with less effort and investment.
