Because the political SCHMUCKS in Albany, New York refused to do the right thing, I have attempted, only by simple mathematical means, based upon the 2011 numbers above, to create the Economic Impact Statement on the effects of the New York SAFE ACT that the politicians in Albany could not be bothered to do.

50% of NYS residents on welfare, WATCHOUT when it stops……………sooner rather than later!

The way the liberals think is that you will still have this money, but you won’t be able to purchase a firearm with it or any related products. They think that is in the best interest of the state and the people that live their. If more protection is needed, then they will hire more police and that will make the economy grow. Also you will most likely spend your money on other things that are not lethal. So there you have it.Tell them what your best argument is that opposes this view.

Ha ha ha we just moved from the Socialist Republic of New York State, the the Great and Free Sate of Georgia, who just passed the strongest 2nd Amendment protections in the US: HB60 and HB238. Mario Jr. can kiss my tax dollars goodbye forever….

Sad commentary, but true. This is the same thing that happened to Detroit and will now happen to most of New England. As liberals keep trouncing the rights of legal gun owners, they keep forcing firearms companies out of the state. After the governments jack up tax rates, they will force other companies out of the area. All that will be left is a bunch of lefties that will continue bankrupt the states. All others that have any sense, will leave.

Good common sense analysis based on facts.
Glad to see the emphasis on the Democrats being the culprits of New York State woes.
Sad thing is, the New York State voters(morons) will continue to vote these Democrat criminals into office.

No typo, the plant still exists, but with Rem moving their mfg operations south, this is probably what it will look like in 5-10 years. Such a shame, a great business in a real great small upstate NY town.

Your picture for this article of a dilapidated building shows a caption saying “Future Remington Plant in Ilion, NY” Is this a typo that should read “Former Plant”? Thanks for the Honest reporting of stories that others are afraid to print.

Yet 4 years later that plant is still up and running

I hear Cuomo no using Soscial Services to contact mothers recieving child support in NY State to signe for a new Bill. The new Bill will make any home with any child ineligable to posses or own a firearm in New York State. Apparently not good enough to make the pappers in New York , but California news uncovered this new assualt on 2nd amendment.
