The American Classic Commander 1911 pistol features the fit and exquisite finish of a high end 1911 but at an affordable price. With out-of-the-box accuracy, the AC Commander in .45 ACP or 9mm handles like a competition pistol with a smooth trigger and perfect balance. Constructed from 4140 steel with a 4140 hammer forged steel slide with rear serrations and a Novak-style rear sight and dovetail front sight, the AC Commander is available in three finishes; Hard Chrome, Deep Blue and the Duo-tone with a Deep Blue frame and Hard Chrome slide.

The AC Commander also features all the safety and details of a more expensive model such as a flared and lowered ejection port, an extended slide stop, a beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety and combat hammer and trigger, but without the price tag. I purchased one in 9mm, It was shooting way low at 30 feet, Called an they had me send it to Colorado Gun Works, I sent it Way back on JUNE 24,2015. They advised me it May take 3 weeks, It needs a taller rear sight. This is SEPTEMBER 16, 2015. 2 1/2 months later, I called after 4 wks. and every two weeks after. There Big on Promise, but thats about it. SO MUCH FOR THE LIFE TIME GUARANTEE.
