More than 250,000 vote in Game & Fish/Magazines’

game-fish-photo-sweepsMarietta, Ga. — A Pennsylvania sportsman posted a fishing photo at, picked up more than 5,200 Facebook likes and won a fully equipped Stratos 189 VLO bass-fishing boat in Game & Fish/Sportsman magazine’s “Camera Corner Fishing Giveaway Presented by YETI.”

Daniel Hamilton’s photo of his father pulled in 5,255 votes in the form of likes and became one of the 25 finalists in the sweepstakes. The photo was then randomly chosen to win the Stratos with a Yamaha 150 V MAX outboard. See the top 25 at

Over the 12 weeks of the contest, magazine readers and web-site viewers posted more than 2,600 photos to the site and to Photos that received the most Facebook likes rose to the top and were included in the top 25. All told, those photos received an amazing 250,000 likes.

In addition to the boat and motor, one winner in each of the 12 weeks (March 24 to June 15) was randomly chosen to win a YETI Roadie cooler.
