USAYESS had middle school, junior high school, and high school shooters from as far away as Alaska that competed in American Trap, American Skeet, and Sporting Clays. USAYESS awarded $2,000 in endowment money for each participating team.
USAYESS also gave out endowment funds for High Overall ($15,000), Runner-Up ($10,000), third place ($8,000) fourth place ($6,000), and fifth place ($4,000). There was a “just for fun” bunker competition that also paid $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000.
In all, a total of $93,000.00 was deposited into team endowment accounts at the MidwayUSA Foundation from the National Championships. USAYESS has given over $400,000.00 to youth shooting teams so far in 2014. The endowment program is made possible by the MidwayUSA Foundation and the personal generosity of Larry and Brenda Potterfield.
