Reese placed second in the Ladies Production division, with 625.9016 match points.

“It was great to see Mark and Maggie’s paths cross in their respective competition circuits,” said Joyce Rubino, Vice President of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing Company. “As always, we are very proud of the outstanding marksmanship and leadership that our Team Colt representatives bring to the range.”

The match featured 10 stages with names such as “Flying Plates, Barrel of Monkeys, Harsh Hallways and Barricade.”

“This match was a great combination of fun and challenging stages,” said Redl. “My Colt Combat Elite gave me the extra boost of confidence in the accuracy and precision of my shots that I needed to win my division.”

The USPSA EGW Area 8 Championship took place Aug. 28-31 2014 at the Fredericksburg Rod & Gun Club in Fredericksburg, Va.

“Shooting this match with my Colt teammate and my USPSA Ladies Production teammates was a blast,” said Reese. “This was a great way for our Ladies team to practice together, in a high-adrenaline competition setting, as we prepare for the IPSC World Shoot this October in Florida.”

Up next for Redl is the Long Island Championship on Sept. 21 2014, and Reese’s next event will be the USPSA Handgun Nationals on Sept. 21. Visit Facebook.com/ColtFirearms to keep up with all of Redl and Reese’s competition results this year.
