SMYRNA, Ga. –-(Ammoland.com)- -(Ammoland.com)- Team GLOCK’s Tori Nonaka shot a personal best and came home with another High Lady and Classification win at the GLOCK sponsored Georgia State Championship. Meanwhile, Deon Martin earns the Master Class win with the G41 Gen4.
Competing in the Limited Division the B Class shooter placed first of all B class competitors and sixth overall. She continued her streak of High Lady titles in USPSA competition.
“I have been concentrating a great deal of my training time lately to concentrate on utilizing my strength and my speed to move through the stages as efficiently as possible,” stated Nonaka.
“I am attacking the course with greater determination to be as fast and accurate as possible”.
Accuracy ruled the day for Nonaka as the young shooter scored 211 Alpha hits on target, shooting a penalty free match.
In Tulsa, Oklahoma, Deon Martin brought home the Master Class win in the Custom Defensive Pistol (CDP) division shooting the G41 Gen4. The USPSA Grand Master and IDPA Master class shooter had made it his mission to win the 2014 title using an out of the box stock pistol to compete with customized pistols designed to shoot the .45 AUTO cartridge.
“The G41 Gen4 has proven to me once again, that it is the best .45 Auto pistol on the market today that anyone can purchase, compete with and win, without having to do thousands of dollars of customizing,” stated Martin.
“Being able to represent GLOCK this year, compete to win with a pistol that was introduced just this year and bring home this highly competitive honor is a tribute to the vision the gun maker has in providing a safe, reliable and accurate platform for any shooter.”
Team GLOCK will now focus on the USPSA Nationals competition in St. George, UT, in two weeks. Nonaka will work to secure the honor as the top Limited Class female shooter and Team Captain KC Eusebio will be tackling a crowded and tough field for the OPEN Division Championship.
