West Point, MS -( Blaine joins the world renowned Maine bear crew this week. After 3 cubs were abandoned by their mother, The crew brings the bears into a rehab center.

After many months of taking the place of the sow, the bears are taught how to enter the wild again so that they can survive on their own. Follow the Bear Whisperer as he brings the cubs back into the wilds of Maine and sets them free into their natural environment. After that, Blaine heads 125 miles from the closest town by boat into the heart of bear country in Alaska.

The Bear Whisperer on the Pursuit Channel airs Tuesdays @ 8:00 p.m. (EST), Thursdays @ 12:30 a.m. and Sundays @4:30 p.m.

Host Blaine Anthony is a familiar face to national TV viewers hosting shows such as North American Safari, The Bear Whisperer and Hitmen for over 10 years. Viewers get much more than just bear hunting. They get to see all aspects of conservation including going into bear dens in the winter with biologists to relocating problem bears from public places. Blaine Anthony has been a registered bear-hunting guide for over 12 years with hundreds of successful hunts to his credit. Anthony has accumulated over 70 successful bear harvests of his own in his hunting career. He has an uncanny ability to track, locate, and understand bear behavior.
