Mark, A gun registry is completely different than a car registry. Nearly every instance in history where there has been a gun registry the political power players have violated the human rights of those people without power. (research what happened in Germany and Turkey when they required all guns be registered). No one In Law Enforcement believes that I-594 will meet any of it’s stated goals. Multiple letters written to County Sheriffs have seen this played out. Wow… this is such crap! Any critical thinker can dissect this argument with ease. 1. A gun registry “naturally leads to confiscation”? Not true. We’ve been registering your cars for years and no one has taken your car away. Plus, that car registry comes in handy when that car is involved in a crime. 2. “Silicone Valley types… are idealistic”. – Generalization. Builds an argument on a false premise. 3. “Bill Gates” and his “Billionaire Buddies” “…intend to purchase and throw away our freedom”. – Straw man argument, also built on false premise.
