New Berlin, Wis. –(– Saving Private K-9, the Sportsman Channel original series, won the coveted and reputed CableFAX Program Award in the Best Show or Series Animals/Nature category.

The CableFAX Program Awards were presented at the Loews Hollywood on October 14.

Saving Private K-9, hosted by actor and former Marine R. Lee Ermey (Full Metal Jacket), introduced viewers into the lives of military and law enforcement service dogs and their handlers.
