DeKalb, Illinois –-(Ammoland.com)- This week, Anthony and Reed talk about how the black rifle enthusiast can leverage technology to augment your shooting habit with applications for PCs, smartphones, and other tech platforms.
Some of the applications should be of interest to any precision shooter or volume shooter–reloading resources. The first is an app available on iTunes called Hand Load. This application allows users to calculate the financials of hand loading. It’s ideal for shooters who are contemplating hand loading for economic reasons. Another is QuickLOAD. This website is a great resource for ballistics information and loading tips.
Other applications that focus more on training such as the Free Shot Timer, also available on iTunes. The latest software update has upgraded shot recognition programing for more accurate use. Great for applied BSA drills that aren’t for competition shooting. Less related to rifles, but no less compelling is the Concealed Carry 50 State Guide. Get instant access to CCW rules and regulations anywhere for any state. Always be sure to consult appropriate government resources for a the definitive answer regarding carry legalities.
As always, Brownells makes the show possible so be sure to check out the links in the show notes for more of the great products and applications discussed in Episode 101! The Back In Black event ends November 30!
