NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)-  In a case to watch out of an Indiana State Court, the Brady Center for Handgun Violence has sued KS&E Sports on behalf of an officer wounded with a firearm allegedly purchased at the store by an illegal straw purchaser.

This case is yet another attempt by the Brady Center to hold an FFL liable for the criminal acts of a third party. The court recently provided KS&E an opportunity to amend its answer to the complaint.

National Shooting Sports Foundation will continue to track this case as it develops.

Using the Brady Center logic, we can use that to make the Brady Center liable for us Citizens’ death or harm because the Brady Center has been instrumental in preventing our ability to legally defend our life and our body. They are the Third Party in these situations that can harm us. How about the car dealers or car manufacturers being liable for the deaths caused by the sale and use or misuse of their products?….Third party involvement ..?

This started in 1934 with the NFA, which the gov needed to keep the prohibition group employed. And it has only gotten worse. I wish, I wish… there was time travel to… Read more »

Another case of Judicial harassment, the only way the FFL to know that someone was committing a straw purchase would be if the buyer admitted it was for his friend. So obviously the real responsible party is the buyer that transferred the firearm to the prohibited person. Any one who thinks otherwise is ignorant and most certainly should neither be a lawyer or Judge.
