USA –-(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won’t see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media’s story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

A man with what looked like a real gun entered Medicap Pharmacy in Cheyenne, Wyo., pointed it at an employee, handed them a bag, and ordered them to fill it with Oxycodone and Percocet. Pharmacist Jackson Quick became aware of the robbery, and retrieved a gun.

As Quick was making his way to another part of the store, ducked behind a counter, the criminal spotted him.

Quick responded by standing up and firing at the criminal, striking him, and ending the robbery. The robber is expected to survive.

Police have no plans to charge Quick. (The Wyoming Tribune Eagle, Cheyenne, Wyo. 12/09/14)

The reason the police are not seeking charges against the Pharmacist is because he was protecting the property of the drug store.
