(AmmoLand.com) Darren K. Moore, known for his artistry in custom jewelry, will be celebrating his 20th year at the SCI Hunters’ Convention February 4-7, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the Convention attendees can enjoy a complimentary consultation with Darren at his drawing table at booth #2423. An original sketch will be given away each day of the Convention.
Moore’s passion for representing the beauty and drama of wild game in jewelry has earned him a loyal following among safari aficionados. He continues to create every single piece of jewelry with his own hands. Moore’s dedication to the craft and detail is what stirs the heart and imagination of hunting and jewelry enthusiasts.
“When I see these magnificent animals, I see the beauty of creation,” Moore said. “I work to shape pieces that evoke the sense of wonder and discovery people experience out on the hunt or simply being in nature in order to keep those memories vivid forever.”
Darren arrived at jewelry by way of painting, which he started at an early age, focusing on animals and the natural environment. To this day, he initials each new work with a sketch to capture the full sense of depth and perspective. He also incorporates sculptural elements consisting of multiple pieces finely formed and finished into a strikingly dynamic whole.
