Montana -(Ammoland.com)- Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Becoming an Outdoors Woman program is sponsoring a snowshoe workshop on Saturday, Jan. 24 in Thompson Falls.
Those will little or no snowshoeing experience should register for the morning class from 8a.m. to 1p.m. And those with previous snowshoeing experience that prefer to talk a longer walk can elect to take a class from 11:30 until 4:30p.m.
“If you can walk, you can snowshoe,” said Liz Lodman, FWP’s Becoming an Outdoors Woman coordinator. “This class will provide an opportunity to use snowshoes while exploring the surrounding forest.”
The class fee is $20 and includes lunch and the use of snowshoes for persons who need to borrow a pair for the class.
