Old Saybrook, CT – Traditions Performance Firearms is introducing the Buntline, Liberty and Black Eagle pistols to their popular Frontier Series Single Action Revolver line. These new guns have intriguing historical elements as well as inspiring engraved designs.
The new Colt Buntline -(Ammoland.com)- 1873 Single Action Revolver was an icon of the Old West. The Traditions Buntline is a .45LC with a 12” color-case hardened barrel and walnut grip. It is said that dime novelist Ned Buntline gave these extra-long barreled revolvers to a group of select men of the Old West, including Bat Masterson and Wyatt Earp. The Buntline model has an MSRP of $639.
Also joining the Frontier Series is the Liberty model. This .45LC revolver features a blued finish, white PVC grip, and a 4.75” barrel. The grip is laser engraved with “LIBERTY” and a prestigious eagle symbol. The revolver barrel, cylinder, and trigger area are also laser engraved with intricate designs. The Liberty model has an MSRP of $624.
The Black Eagle model is the final addition to the Frontier series for 2015. This .45LC model incorporates a color-cased hardened finish, a sleek black PVC grip, and a 4.75” barrel. The grip encompasses an eagle etching, adding to its distinctive character. The MSRP for the Black Eagle model is $574.
