I have been selling/flying drones since they were invented.
Firing into the air is just too dangerous.
Use a garden hose with a precision nozzle.
Water and spinning props don’t mix.
You’re welcome.

If the need to shoot down a drone exists then worrying about local laws and cops won’t be an issue. I can shoot down a smaller drone flying low with a 22 CB or CB long round and no one will hear the shot. No shotgun shell will shoot down a military drone which may even be out of range of most center fire rifle rounds. I keep an old Marlin Goose Gun loaded with #4 steel shot. I get about 1/3 of the load in a 2 foot square target at 100 yards. Any hits past that distance would… Read more »

I am with Phil. You cant just go shooting drones down in the city without causing a lot of havoc. Those laws were to fight PETA’s new campaign of scaring off animals or bugging hunters while they are hunting the game. Fire these shotgun rounds at a drone some kid is flying over your backyard to try and catch a peek at the mrs’ boobs and see how many cops you get knocking on your front door. That being said… there are frequency jammers and white noise generators that you can use to create a RF blackout in your area… Read more »

Nope, tx’s and rx’s these days operate on a very wide frequency band including 72mhz UHF 2.4 and 5.4 ghz
A jammer can not get all those frequencies and now with FHSS(frequency hopping) a jammer would have very little effect. Drones also have a return to home as a fail safe if the tx and rx connection is cut.

Im pretty sure a regular slug or birdshot would easily take out a drone better than this stuff.

Also some cities or states have already made it illegal to shoot down drones.

Useless!
Can’t discharge a firearm in city limits.
I’d rather overload the receiver on the drone, either take it over, or cause it to lose ground communication and it either crashes or flys off never to be seen again.

Ya have to think, there are other ways besides shooting it.
Could also buy metal blinds for windows, they still make them, block any infrared spying in your windows.
