USA – -(Ammoland.com)- People who spend time outdoors rely upon Engel Coolers, The Original High Performance Coolers, to keep things cold while they’re away from home.

Whether as a hunter, angler or an overlander driving the backroads, all appreciate the rugged durability and exceptional ice-keeping qualities of Engel’s
top-of-the-line roto-molded coolers.

However, these adventurers may require a cooler that’s more adaptable, that can get tossed in the back of a pick-up, stowed in the hold of a flats boat, slung like a backpack over the shoulder or simply grabbed and carried into camp.

“We’re introducing the new Backpack Cooler Bag for hunters, fishermen – anybody really that needs ‘grab and go’ cold,” said Paul Kabalin, CEO of Engel USA.

“Our new, soft-sided cooler is easy to take along, has several features you just won’t find on other soft-sided coolers and, most importantly, offers the ‘original’ cold-keeping power that we’re famous for.”

Extremely Rugged and Well Insulated:
Unlike the soft-sided coolers found on the shelves of the big box stores, the Engel Backpack Cooler Bag is engineered to withstand harsh use on land or sea. It features a rugged, tear-resistant 500-denier polyester diamond ripstop outer shell with a waterproof TPE coating for easy cleaning. On the inside, there’s a dual radiant barrier liner of reflective foil – another exclusive Engel feature you won’t find on other bags. Sandwiched in-between the foil layers is a 1-inch thick layer of closed-cell foam insulation.

While the insulation effectively minimizes heat transfer to maintain cold inner temperatures, the radiant barrier liners reflects heat radiation, keeping heat out and cold in. (This is especially important when you’re out in the sun all day, on the water or in the field.) Under typical conditions, the Engel Cooler Bag will hold ice for up to three days.

Easy Access with Room To Spare:
With a whopping 23 quart capacity, there is plenty of room for food and snacks, a hearty picnic lunch – or more than 18 cans of ice-cold, liquid refreshment. The top opening features a heavy-duty two-way water-repellant zipper that pulls open for full access to the main inner compartment. Next to the main opening, there is a zippered side pocket, an ideal place to put an Engel Cooler Pak or two. (Engel Cooler Paks will keep the adjacent contents in the main section cold without relying upon ice – freeing up more space for groceries and eliminating sloppy meltwater.)

Exclusive Patented Inner Liner Bag:
In the main compartment, contents are held in a patented, removable liner bag that attaches around the top with hook-and-loop fasteners. The reinforced bag is puncture-resistant and features Microban® anti-microbial protection. This liner bag protects the inside of the cooler and, best of all, makes for easy clean up at the end of the trip. In fact, having several liner bags can extend the use of the bag, so cooler can be filled with the catch of the day in the morning and then swap out liner bags and take the cooler bag to the beach with the family in the afternoon.

Straps, Handles and Pockets:
The Engel Backpack Cooler Bag features padded, breathable shoulder straps that make it easy to carry as a backpack. Sturdy tote handles slide onto shoulders easily or can be carried by hand. The flat bottom of the cooler bag is fitted with four non-skid feet to keep it from sliding around on deck. There are mesh side pockets for items that don’t require cooling, a large zippered front pocket for plates, flatware and cooking supplies, and an outer pocket for last minute items.
