(AmmoLand.com) The United States Concealed Carry Association kicked off their first annual Concealed Carry Expo May 8th in the scenic little town of West Bend, Wisconsin.

When the gates opened at 3pm, a crowd of people lined the sidewalk at the Washington County Fair Park to get their chance to see the latest products and offerings for concealed carry from over 50 exhibitors. In addition to Wisconsin, attendees came in from surrounding states such as Missouri, Illinois and Minnesota.

A wide selection of guns, holsters, clothing, training aides, parts and accessories and other products were on display. Plenty of products for women were available from Lethal Lace, 5.11 Tactical, Well armed Woman and Nickel & Lace, to name a few.

In addition to exhibitor displays at the expo, there were informative seminars by some of the top trainers in the industry, such as Dave Young with ARMA Training, George Harris, president of International Firearms Consultants, James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response Inc. and USCCA Chief Instructor Michael Martin. Attendees got the chance to receive hands-on instruction to help them increase their confidence and skill level if the are ever faced with having to draw their weapon.

Blue Line Corp. brought their portable enclosed shooting range to allow attendees to get hands-on shooting time with exhibitors’ guns to help them work on their shooting skills as well as make future purchasing decisions.

“We looked at several ideas to find a way to connect our members and supporters with the industry people who provide the products and services they need to be responsibly armed citizens”, said USCCA Founder and President, Tim Schmidt. “That’s how the idea of the Concealed Carry Expo came about. From the looks of the crowd for day one and the amount of enthusiasm we’ve seen, I believe we’re on the right track. Our plan is to make this an annual event and expand it even further.”

The Expo ran through Sunday, May 10. Plans are already being made for next year’s Expo.USCCA Expo Logo
