Covington, VA -(Ammoland.com)- VCDL-PAC is pleased to enthusiastically endorse Vince Haley for Senate in the 12th Senate district.
This Republican primary contest had three candidates who answered the VCDL Candidate Survey very pro-gun and one candidate who failed to answer the survey. In the end, Vince Haley had two things that set him apart: an excellent campaign machine, and a manager who not only didn’t advise him to avoid gun issues, but actually WANTS to pick a fight on the issue! It is rare to find that in a campaign.
Vince Haley and his campaign staff actively sought us out, and have demonstrated a clear desire to put gun owners’ rights in the spotlight. Such dedication is wonderful to see! VCDL-PAC is grateful to Eddie Whitlock for his strong support. He is an excellent candidate and we look forward to supporting him in the future!
Dr. Dunnavant’s campaign has so far failed to answer the VCDL survey and ignored repeated requests for a meeting. I am disappointed in the apparent indifference, if not hostility, towards the right to bear arms from this campaign. Bill Janis turned in a great survey, and has a strong pro-gun record on votes that actually made it to the House Floor, but there are inconsistencies in both his surveys and voting record. Members and citizens deserve up or down votes on ALL the bills that come before the committees, not just the convenient ones.
If you live in the 12th Senate district, please vote for Vince Haley on June 9th. Please go the extra mile and do what VCDL grassroots members do best, bring friends to vote and volunteer to help Vince and his campaign staff with your valuable time. This is only the first of many battles this election cycle. I expect VCDL-PAC to be actively involved in NINE or more primaries, PLUS the General Election races. Please help us fight off anti-gun candidates, and put freedom-minded individuals in office.
