Outdoor Channel's “Limitless with Theresa Vail presented by Franchi” Dashes to the Finish Line on Thursday, August 6 at 9:30 p.m. ET
Denver (Ammoland.com) – Theresa Vail heads to Kansas City, Mo. to take part in one of the most demanding obstacle courses in the country – the Warrior Dash – before heading to Illinois for her first turkey hunt of the season. This is no ordinary turkey hunt; former Chicago White Sox player and host of Sportsman Channel’s Sheep Shape, Rick Carone, joins the adventure. Limitless with Theresa Vail presented by Franchi airs tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET on Outdoor Channel.
This week, Vail laces up and draws from her extensive military background to compete in the Warrior Dash. Strength and determination are key elements in persevering through three miles of challenging obstacles, including an Army-crawl in the mud under barbed wire and hurdling over fire. Frigid temperatures and slick paths make for one of the most fun – and difficult – races, but Vail is determined to cross the finish line.
“I’m all about taking on challenges, and that includes the Warrior Dash. Not only did I have a great time testing my limits, but it was all for a great cause. Proceeds from the event go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital,” commented Vail.
Also in this week’s episode, Vail teams up with another tough-spirited hunter, Rick Carone, to chase turkeys in Illinois. The adrenaline of the hunt has the potential to compromise Vail’s shot, but she ultimately finds herself face-to-face with a formidable opponent and a chance at her first harvest of the season.
