Titusville, FL –“A national Republican Trump-Martinez ticket could smash the Democrats in next year’s presidential election,” gun rights expert John M. Snyder said here today

He explained that, “The combination of New York businessman Donald Trump for president and New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez for vice-president would be hard to beat.

“That ticket, strengthened with a truly pro-American platform, could enable Republicans to attract scores of millions of voters absolutely disgusted with politically correct officials in general and whacked-out Democrats in particular. The silent majority once again could make itself heard.”

Snyder said, “The Trump cap message to ‘Make America Great Again‘ is more than a slogan. It’s a goal! Patriotic Republicans and Democrats realize the United States must clean up the public mess created by wretched politicians and their media supporters. Several good candidates say they want to clean up that mess.

“The candidacy of Trump, the front-running GOP candidate and real estate multi-billionaire, truly is striking. The tough New York businessman connects solidly with Joe Six-pack. That’s a political phenomenon.”

Snyder speculated, “The Republican Party could nominate Trump for president and balance the ticket with Martinez, a Western Hispanic woman with a working class background, for vice president. The GOP might demolish the Democrat ticket, whoever that party’s nominees, and clean the clocks of Democrat officials around the country and across the board. A new political establishment might emerge.

“America could dump nutty fiscal policies and replace them with smart ones. America could deep-six abortion, same-sex marriage, gun control, illegal immigration and acceptance of Islamism. We could promote traditional marriage, the right to life, and the individual right to keep and bear arms for defense of life. We could put an end to illegal immigration and Islamist terror. Let’s recommit the United States to the Judaeo-Christian spiritual principles underlying our Nation’s founding. Let’s make America great again.

Let’s not get our panties in a wad about Judeo Christian whatever. Remember separation of church and state. As far as Trump is concerned he may help the Republican Party in the long run, but he will be disastrous in 2016 especially if he wins the nomination. Surely there is an intelligent choice in the field, I am thinking Governor Kasich.

Trump may not be “pro gun” per se, but if the Republicans maintain, and possibly increase their numbers in the House and Senate, Trump wouldn’t have to worry about signing any new “gun control” legislation, because none would make it out of congress. THIS is where the Voice of the People need to be heard. I don’t know if Trump will get the nomination, but so far he’s mopping the floor with his opponents. Either way, he’d be better by several orders of magnitude compared to what we have now. We need to target Boehner and McConnell, for starters, and… Read more »

She would be a better choice than that coward Mark Cuban. He was the first to ban the playing of the movie The Interview, when the North Koreans threatened terrorism over anybody who played it. We don’t need someone who will run at the first sign of trouble.

Bottom line we have not lost our nation. Just because everything is not just like you want to be does not mean our nation is lost. Good grief Charlie Brown.

“Good grief charlie Brown” is right. You either have a rainbow flag draped around your shoulders or have been ‘out to lunch’ for the past seven years. Five more circles around the bowl and we are down the crapper.

Trump keeps dancing and weaving around the specifics of his stance on the Second Amendment, especially a ban on “assault weapons”, waiting periods and background checks. Anyone who believes he’s solidly pro 2A better sit down and really take a look at his non-specific answers to the questions.

Martinez for Veep makes a lot of sense. Besides being Hispanic and conservative, she’s pro-gun.

Let’s all not get too excited yet. Take a look at New Mexico’s gun laws as well as other measures passed under Martinez’s governorship. She is NOT a conservative. At best, she is a RINO. At worst, she is Democrat Light. But, I can assure you that if she becomes our Vice-President, we will not have won.

Ted Cruz is an awesome candidate. But if Donald Trump wins the nomination, Cruz would better serve our country by staying in the Senate. A Trump/Martinez ticket would motivate the fence sitters who want a woman on the ballot and those who would like to see a hispanic.

This ticket assumes the Republican Party prefers to give up even pretending to be conservative.
Really? A “gun guy” wants Trump? The same Trump who supported the “assault weapons ban” before he opposed it?
Trump is P. T. Barnam with bad hair.

This ticket would certainly attract those emotional PC citizens who vote according to ethnicity and sex (“gender” is a grammatical classification, so sex it is!)

I prefer Trump/Cruz ! Cruz is keeping his mouth shut and not slamming Trump when everyone else is. Cruz isn’t doing that because he really likes Trump or anything like that. The GOP will win the women’s votes without having one on the ticket.

Trump is not pro Second Amendment. He waffles on what an assault weapon is and has never answered what if any weapons he would ban, not to mention waiting periods and background checks.
