DeKalb, Illinois –-( Reed Snyder is hosts episode 139 of the AR-15 Podcast!

This week, he takes you through thoughts on a project build, so for any of you out there that have ever wanted a short barreled rifle (SBR), this is an episode you won’t want to miss!

Before any discussion can be had about owning an SBR, you have to start at the beginning–the regulations. For those new to the firearms community and lifestyle, Reed offers some insight about the legal considerations for acquiring, and owning a weapon regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA).

Next, Reed delves into some of the features and thought process behind his own SBR build, including finishes and accessories. Some of the accessories and finish discussed are suppressor usage and Cerakoting, which is a paint-like finish for style and component protection. Both of these are popular with SBR users, particularly suppressors since they are also controlled devices.
