‘Confessions of a Camo Queen’ joins lineup
Berube lives a crazy, laugh-filled life with her outdoorsman husband, Remi, and their three camo-clad children in Missoula, Mont. A graduate of Montana State University and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, she loves being a mom and enjoys hiking, fishing, and camping.
Her column closely parallels her first book, “Confessions of a Camo Queen,” which is available at Amazon. It’s easy to see Berube’s sense of humor in the online book synopsis: “Does your man’s interior design sense involve dead animals? Is your fridge stocked with styrofoam cups of earthworms, deer glands in plastic sandwich bags, and whole dead birds? Does he keep a can of elk estrus spray next to his deodorant? Congratulations, you’re in love with an outdoorsman! You are indeed a true camo queen!”
“I am delighted that Kristen will be contributing her life experiences to The WON. We are sure that many ‘camo queens’ visit our pages to learn more about shooting, hunting, fishing and outdoor adventure – especially as it relates to women,” said Publisher Barbara Baird.
Confessions of a Camo Queen (ISBN: 978-1-56037-628-6, $12.95, Farcountry Press, 2015) is available at local bookstores and gift shops, through online retailers, or from Farcountry Press at 1.800.821.3874, www.farcountrypress.com.
