Memphis, MI -(AmmoLand.com)- G5 Outdoors, the leading manufacturer in premium archery equipment and design is proud to announce that the Prime ION has been recognized by Field & Stream as 2015’s “Best of the Best.”

“It’s been an incredible year for the ION,” stated Matt Grace, President of G5 Outdoors. “We couldn’t be more pleased with the way this bow has performed and the recognition that has resulted. The compound bow industry is as competitive as it gets, making this a true honor for the entire G5 team.”

The Best of the Best award is the second of two prestigious honors that the ION has received in 2015. In April, the Field & Stream bow-test team tested a dozen flagship models and when the dust settled, the Prime ION landed in a tie at the top.

“We’ve been predicting greatness for Prime Bows the past couple years and when the ION tied for first place in the F&S 2015 bow shootout, it marked Prime’s arrival to the big time,” stated Scott Bestul of Field & Stream. “The Ion does nothing wrong and so many things right. The most recent Best of the Best honor is well deserved.”

In the 2015 Field & Stream Best of the Best, experts tested more than 150 products to find 42 that met Field & Stream's exacting standards. This award is one of the most respected praises that can be given to hunting, fishing and outdoor products.

The 2015 Best of the Best is covered in detail within the September issue of Field & Stream Magazine.
