Sportsman Channel Launches Season Premiere of “MCMILLAN”…New Name, Old Hat on Thursday, September 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT
Sportsman Channel original series changes name but not the storyline
Viewers of Sportsman Channel’s Meet the McMillans will no doubt recognize the show’s name may have changed but Tom, Jacque and their team of outfitters enjoy taking clients out for some serious hunting – along with a fair share of hijinks – just as they always have done. The McMillans never fall short on displaying their passion for the outdoors and Season 3 will hold true to that sentiment.
Season 3 of MCMILLAN continues to take a first-hand look into the lives of one of the outdoor industry’s most recognizable families. As Tom and Jacque continue to juggle the demands of a toddler at home, an unrelenting world-class business never rests. With action-filled hunts taking place across the Great Plains of Kansas and throughout the Midwest, Sportsman Channel is the exclusive network home for MCMILLAN on Thursday, September 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

“Tom and Jacque McMillan have found the recipe for creating an entertaining, red, wild and blue show about their lives as businesspeople and a family,” said Mitch Petrie, vice president of programming for Sportsman Channel. “If viewers expect a change in content because the change in name, they won’t get it. Season 3 will be packed full of excitement and fun as the family – and their clients – embark on weekly hunting adventures.”
The unique relationship between outfitter and client is still the focus for McMillan Outfitting. The crew brings in several captivating guests, including: NASCAR driver Clint Bowyer and PEAK Auto CMO, Bryan Emrich, as the first clients of the season. If Tom can survive these two together, the rest of the season should be a cakewalk. Later in the season, Tom attempts his own version of a “selfie” by filming himself bowhunting for a Kansas buck on the ground. Also, Tom travels to Oklahoma to visit friend and country music star, Blake Shelton, again. This time he brings along their buddy, country music artist, Tyler Farr. But things take a turn for the worse during their hog hunt. Will Tyler be able to live down his new nickname of “Too Farr?”
“Season 3 proves that you should never rest on your laurels as something always comes up when you run your own guide business,” said Tom McMillan. “We are really hitting our stride bringing more of the funny, real-life happenings from the ranch and each hunting camp we film as we continue to show our clients the very best time – even in subzero, sometimes dire situations outdoors. At the end of the day, getting their buck and seeing that smile on their face makes it all worth it.”
