Minnesota – -(Ammoland.com)- Michael Bloomberg’s “Everytown for Gun Safety“, having suffered failure after failure with legislation, is targeting yet another retailer with pressure to get them to prohibit the lawful carry of firearms.
This strategy was successful at Target, Starbucks, and several other companies.
His new focus is Hy-Vee, the grocery superstore chain based in Iowa.
In Minnesota, Hy-Vee has stores in Albert Lea, Austin, Fairmont, Faribault, Mankato, Marshall, New Hope, New Ulm, Oakdale, Owatonna, Rochester, Waseca, Windom, Winona, and Worthington. We’re also aware that they plan to expand in the near future with additional locations.
So far, Hy-Vee is holding their ground against Bloomberg’s organization – following their corporate policy of adhering to local laws and customs. but…
It’s important that Hy-Vee hears a clear message from law-abiding Minnesotans that we support their efforts – but we expect them to continue to respect the Second Amendment.
Can you take the following actions this morning to help reinforce Hy-Vee’s willingness to stand up against Bloomberg and his ilk?
- Contact Hy-Vee’s HQ: Contact Hy-Vee via their contact form on their website at this link. Let them know that you are a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and want them to continue to respect local laws by permitting law-abiding Minnesotans to carry firearms in their stores. Let them know that this is an important factor for you when you decide where to shop and spend your hard-earned money.
- Contact the nearest Hy-Vee Store: Hy-Vee gives local store managers a significant amount of discretion in operating their stores, including allowing them set policies that may not fit the company policies at HQ. It’s important to call your local store and speak to the store manager – reiterating the same message that you left at Hy-Vee’s HQ.

I agree it is a very long stretch to say EveryClown was sussesfull with any company changing of policy.
It is an overstatement to claim the Everytown has made any changes to the companies listed. None of them have changed their policy, just wrote a “nice letter” to make the Everytown xxxzzzxxx shut up.
I already emailed Hyvee and encouraged them to stay strong while doing the correct thing; stay pro-2nd.
