WSI Sports Teams Up with Minnesota Deer Hunters Association for Giveaway

EAGAN, MINN, (Ammoland.Com) – WSI Sportswear, offering quality performance gear and sportswear made in the U.S.A, is teaming up with the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association to give nine lucky hunters a pair of their WikMax HEATR socks, a proprietary fabric that generates heat when worn. To enter, visit WSI Sports’ Facebook page – ‘like’ the page for one entry and share the post for two entries. Winner will be drawn on November 11, 2015.

HEATR absorbs and maintains heat better than wool or other fibers.

“It also wicks moisture better than other materials,” said Joel Wiens, CEO and Founder of WSI Sports. “We make gloves, hats, tops and more out of our HEATR material, but the wicking is most important for the feet for us hunters. Cold feet mean your hunt is over.”

The company has also become the go-to source for top athletes looking to maintain performance in the cold. In fact, WSI Sports recently helped keep the NY Mets warm during their World Series battle. “We use heat mapping,” says Wiens, “to determine where warmth is needed most. We create thinner sections where heat is not needed as much, to cut down on excess sweating, and players have told us it makes a big difference.”

“We make everything here, in Minnesota,” said Wiens. “We can customize and change things on request, and can ship faster and cheaper than our overseas competitors.”
