Sportsman Channel Shows Earn Multiple Telly Awards

DENVER (Ammoland.Com) – Sportsman Channel’s Big Deer TV, hosted by Mike Hanback and Petersen’s Hunting Border to Border, hosted by Mike Schoby, recently won silver and bronze Telly Awards in the “TV Programs” category at the 36th Annual Telly Awards.

Big Deer TV received a silver Telly in the “Entertainment” subcategory for their show “Dream Buck for Krista.” Border to Border received a silver Telly in the “Videography” subcategory for their show “New Mexico Antelope.” Border to Border also received a bronze Telly for that same episode in the “Entertainment” subcategory.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive these awards for our television series,” said Mitch Petrie, vice president of programming. “Mike Hanback and Mike Schoby, along with the entire Outdoor Sportsman Group staff take great pride and careful planning to create such unique series. We work with a superb internal production and editing staff – so hat’s off to everyone for their winning efforts.”

Big Deer TV also won a bronze Telly in the “Editing” subcategory for their work on the “Acts of Valor” episode and another bronze Telly in the “Videography” subcategory for their episode “The Shed Hunting Obsession.”

Other Sportsman Channel series winning bronze Telly Awards include: World of Beretta, Bowhunter TV and The Outfitters Built by Ford F-150.
