DeKalb, Illinois – SHOT Show 2016 came and went, and now the AR-15 Podcast brings you a roundtable with a full cast to discuss the goings on of the firearms industry! One of the podcast’s off air technicians, Anthony, joins Reed, J.D., and fellow Firearms Radio Network host Michael for Episode 156. Also, this episode marks the three year anniversary to the show, and we wish to extend a thank you to all the listeners that keep the show going!
SHOT Show brings a sneak peak at the newest offerings from the industry’s biggest names. There are so many products, it could literally take days to discuss them all. Everything from new optics, to magazines, to lightened .308 platforms, SHOT unveiled it all. Check out the show notes for details on the wide array of new gear discussed in the episode.
So the panel chose some of their favorites to bring back to the listeners. One new product offering from IWI is the highly anticipated upgrade to the Tavor, the X95 which sports, among other things, an upgraded trigger group. Also, the Lewis Machine and Tool LMT lower receiver which offers a totally ambidextrous control and a flared magwell.
