Hartford CT -(Ammoland.com)- On January 6th, 2016 the Patel home invasion and murder case began in the Litchfield County Courthouse.

Connecticut Carry Director and American News and Information Services President Edward Peruta was on hand to videotape the trial after a hard fought battle for transparency in the court concluded just a day earlier.

But why would a court not want public transparency?

As it turns out, ten minutes of 911 call from the mother of the shooting victim give a possible reason. The home invasion, which was carried out on August 6, 2012, in Sharon Connecticut found the victim’s mother zip-tied with her son Luke dead from multiple gunshot wounds pleading with the dispatcher for police and an ambulance for ten minutes.

At approximately 6 minutes into the call, she exclaims that ‘she doesn’t have a gun and couldn’t defend herself’ in an audible display of despair.

Politicians who are protected by armed security details like Governor Malloy, the Connecticut General Assembly and Connecticut’s Federal Representatives and Senators continually tell the public that this kind of thing doesn’t happen. That people do not need firearms to defend themselves, and worse, they create infringements on the right to armed self-defense for the citizens in Connecticut.

Connecticut Carry’s stance is clear:

“Every citizen has the right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state.” – Article 1, Section 15 – Connecticut Constitution

There is, of course, no guarantee that a firearm and training would have prevented this law-violating, deliberate home invasion and murder. However, the regret that somebody did not have the means to defend themselves and their loved one(s) is something that should never be inflicted by government edict. And no person should ever have to sit for ten minutes waiting for help from armed felons. This is all the more egregious in a state government run by a man whose son has plead guilty of shockingly similar crimes to what happened in Sharon Connecticut. Perhaps there is a reason why that same politician wants people unarmed in their homes, as a horrible and immoral way of protecting his loved ones.

“Evil is real. The right to armed self-defense is about people being able to use force to defend themselves against that evil. We watch in horror as that evil slaughters unarmed people over and over. We insist upon, and will aggressively defend, our right to armed self-defense.”– Connecticut Carry President Rich Burgess

“Every elected official should listen to this audio clip.” – Connecticut Carry Director of Legal Affairs Ed Peruta

This situation has passed but hope we can learn and put to use some valuable LESSONS! Would seem to me that w/the POLICE distance away it WOULD BE WISE if they had a major index at hand in which the Police can CALL ALL NEIGHBORS! Someone gonna say “Oh no..they ARE NOT TRAINED!” HELL! A situation such as that is ALL OUT WAR nothing less! Lets be PROUD, let’s STAND UP FOR OURSELVES and OUR NEIGHBORS!

Bottom line here is NO one, not guns, not police, to blame here, the blame lis with the kid dealing drugs, we reap what we sow! If he hadn’t been dealing drugs no one would have had an issue with him. Anyone that deals knows their fate, die from using or die from dealing .

This is why we need to have guns to protect our self, our family & the neighborhood from the the children who are not taught while they growing up.They must learn about being RESPONSIBLE & they must understand for every thing you do. Their FAMILY OR NEIGHBORHOOD is just as responsible. When PARENTS shield them from the realities of life the world, they believe they can do no wrong & therefore are ABOVE THE LAW.

“…a state government run by a man whose son has plead guilty of similar crimes.” Has plead? Were you unable to choose between pleaded and pled? Showing what spell-check has done for writing.

Call me a racist if you want, but the true negrophile racists like obama-boy and lynch-mob who value Black, particularly Black over all other races, do not want to stop them from terrorizing, raping, robing, assaulting and murdering. That is the reason why obama-boy wants to infringe on the 2nd Amendment.

10 minutes ? If your as Rural as we are make that up to 2 hours! Had a new neighbor tell me he ,” didn’t believe in ‘assault rifles’ . When I explained this to him and asked if he thought criminals gave a rats ass he changed his tune quickly! Molon Labe!

Thomas Paine, writing to religious pacifists in 1775: “The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The balance of power is the scale of peace. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside. Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them; the… Read more »

Every member of congress should have to listen to this and THEN decide whether “commonsense” gun control is working! And then, if after hearing this poor woman’s pain, they still stick by their wicked, anti-American policies, they should be removed from office immediately!

Brutal.
This should be required for all politicians to listen to when they talk of disarming the public.
No one is responsible for our personal self defense but US.

Wild Bill

If the people cannot have guns and the politicians don’t have guns and no guns for the government THEN CRIMINALS WILL STILL HAVE GUNS. Your solution won’t work.

Bandit

If the people cannot have guns to protect ourselves then the politicians should not have them either, either we all have guns or access to a gun or no one should have them not even those in office; fact is those in office should not have them anyway. Those in office should have to live under the exact same rules and laws that everyone else does, so no guns for the people no guns for the government.

Edward Peruta

Regardless of who the residents were or what they were doing, the fact that a home invasion could take place with a 10 minute police response time is outrageous. In the same video clip, one state trooper testifies that he was pushing his crusier to the limit doing 100 to 120 miles per hour en route to the incident address in Sharon, Connecticut.

The trial clips are available at http://www.sjtalkshow.com.

Look for the testimony of the first witness and then the first State Trooper.

Sambos EO on guns is a diversion to take the heat off of his do nothing approach to his buds in the Islamic State.
