Rolla, MO -(AmmoLand.com)- Women’s Outdoor News (The WON) today announced that Michelle Cerino is its new managing editor.

In her position, Cerino will schedule, edit and publish the editorial content, as well as write her own column, “She Shoots 2,” sponsored by Crossbreed Holsters. A mother of two teenage boys, Cerino has been right there beside them hunting youth deer seasons, plinking pop cans with .22s and being involved in Boy Scouts since 2004.

Cerino is the president of Cerino Consulting & Training Group, LLC, a firearms training company she built with her husband, Chris, in 2011. In this role, she manages their business, maintains its website and contributes to its social media outlets. She also assists in training civilians and law enforcement.

Cerino’s path in the firearms and outdoors industries is ever progressing, and her bylines can be found in some of the country’s top firearms publications. She recently has developed a penchant for survival and prepper skill information, and contributes to “American Frontiersman” and “The New Pioneer.” Watch for this development at The WON, as she shapes the future of editorial content that potentially reaches more than 4 million readers monthly.

When not working, Cerino competes in prestigious shooting events, such as the Bianchi Cup in Missouri, and nationwide in major 3-Gun matches. If not shooting, you might find her hunting hogs in Louisiana, whitetail in Ohio or ducks and upland birds in North Carolina.

“I have been impressed for several years now with Michelle Cerino’s ability to communicate and with her superior organizational skills,” said Barbara Baird, publisher of The WON. “I look forward to seeing what the future holds for The WON, since she’ll be the one with her finger on the pulse of the editorial calendar.”
