Conroe, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- Texas Armament & Technology (TxAT)/Aguila Ammunition welcomes Gary Fitzjarrell to “Team Aguila” as part of the Aguila Ammo pro staff team. Having a pro staff team is a new tactic for the evolving company.

“As we continue to gain ground with the U.S. market, one of the best ways to earn loyalty and prove our value is to align our brand with well known shooters,” states Kristi Drawe, Director of Marketing for TxAT/Aguila Ammunition. “When you come across shooters that not that appreciate the quality of our product, but have proven, first handedly that our products win competitions, it makes sense to create a partnership.”

“I was amazed with the quality and performance of Aguila ammunition. Not only is the ammo top shelf, the people at Aguila are as well,” says Gary Fitzjarrell, PSCA Shooter. “I grew up in a shooting family in Illinois and started shooting sporting clays at age 10. I won my first national junior title at age 11, the Jeep Clay Bird Classic. I’ve been addicted to this game ever since and it’s far more enjoyable when you have quality performing products behind you.”

As part of the Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA), Fitzjarrell’s list of accolades is short of impressive. They include Former All American, Former Team USA Member, Member of numerous All State Teams, Holder of multiple State Titles, and 11 State Hall of Fames. Now retired at age 36 from farming, Fitzjarrell is focused on running a sporting course in Illinois and putting more time into competing in shooting.

TxAT/Aguila Ammunition is pleased to have such well-rounded, accomplished shooter on their team.

Because we like to support the firearms industry regardless of country origin. Few people I know have just one firearm, and I don’t know any of them who don’t have at least one firearm made in another country. When I find Aguila ammo, I buy it because I’ve found it to have consistent quality and be highly accurate for its price point. My .22 LR pistol is finicky and not only does Aguila ammo feed smoothly it’s as accurate as ammo twice its price. I’ve found their .223 is as accurate as ammo that’s more expensive. I understand being thrifty when purchasing ammo for practice, by why in the world would an American citizen purchase ammo made in another country?
