“I am a lifetime member of the NWTF because I believe strongly in their mission to ‘Save The Habitat. Save The Hunt,” said Waller. “To be recognized as Communicator of the Year is such an honor. The list of previous recipients contains people whom I have tremendous respect. This award is very humbling and a highlight of my journey in the hunting industry.”

“Jana is one of the most thoughtful, unique and passionate hosts we have on Sportsman Channel,” said Mitch Petrie, vice president of programming for Sportsman Channel. “Her recognition from the National Wild Turkey Federation is well deserved.”

She also encourages her viewers to join the NWTF and other conservation organizations.

“Jana is a great spokesperson for the NWTF and the entire outdoor tradition,” said George Thornton, National Wild Turkey Federation CEO. “She uses her platform to educate a broad audience about the importance of preserving our hunting heritage, a hunter’s role in conservation and the ethical pursuit of wild game.”
