Canyon County, ID -(AmmoLand.com)- Yesterday SB 1389 (Constitutional Carry) passed yet another hurdle despite continued efforts by Michael Bloomberg to undermine your gun rights!
The House State Affairs Committee voted 13-4 to send the bill to the full House for a final vote. The bill passed along party lines.
The battle isn’t over yet though!
We can’t stress enough that you MUST continue to email and call both of your House Representatives until their votes have been cast.
Michael Bloomberg is continuing his efforts to undermine and destroy Constitutional Carry in Idaho and we can’t let him do it. It’s up to you to show him that we won’t let his money push us around!
Time is running out for us to make one final push to our legislature so they send the bill to Governor Otter.
We have not heard yet where the Governor stands on the issue but just today,Lt. Governor Brad Little released a statement endorsing Constitutional Carry and he encouraged the Idaho House to pass the bill!!!

You can then find their “332-xxxx” office phone number and legislative email by going to legislature.idaho.gov and in the middle of the Home Page you will see “2016 Legislative Directory”. Hit CTR F and search for their name!

This is another case of Under reporting what is Actually happening! The NRA is sticking it to us Again by supporting this Amended Bill! The truth is that Citizens 18 – 20 years of age are being DISENFRANCHISED by this bill. As it stands today they are allowed to carry outside the city Without any paper. I’m a native Texan and heartily applaud Idaho’s efforts to bring constitutional carry to its people. We here in Texas must fight against our “leaders” each year because they have continued to drag their feet on this issue. We will continue to work hard to vote out those representatives who obstruct the will of “We the People” until only true Constitutional backers have been elected in our state and we have true Constitutional Carry for law abiding Texans. Our best wishes to Idaho and its people in their struggle to get their “lawmakers” to follow the Constitution.
@Mike,like you I’m native Texan. There is too much money generated in Texas from LTC (formally concealed carry) for Constitutional Carry to pass anytime soon. The votes would had been there when OC finally passed. It’s all about revenue !
As an Oklahoman, I’m jealous (although Oklahoma is generally a gun-friendly state, we’ve had problems trying to get campus-carry and constitutional-carry legislation passed… so far).
But I applaud Idaho’s efforts, and encourage all voters to push your legislators… hard… to complete this work!
