Cheyenne, WY -(Ammoland.com)- HB-86 passed the House with a super majority vote of 50-10.
And this was because of overwhelming support from gun owners across the state demanding the Repeal of Gun Free Zones. But unlike the House, Senate Leadership insisted on holding it back from a floor vote.
It wasn’t for a lack of time. It was a deliberate move by the Senate to keep the bill from advancing.
The Senate is controlled by a radically anti-gun leadership who has consistently killed pro-gun legislation for 5 years running. And how does “Leadership” get into the position of power? It’s by secret ballot of a majority vote.
This secret parliamentary procedure is kept on the books to ensure they can game the system by keeping you in the dark.
And wouldn’t you know it’s this same “majority” who — just last year — voted to substitute a 3 page bill to Repeal Gun Free Zones – with a 14 page gun control bill.
Remember I’ve been telling you that if the Senate continues on the same path, that it would bring opportunities in the 2016 Primaries in August.

These Senators are desperately hoping that you’ll forget about the bills that WyGO has spent five years working on and that the Senate has killed, and support them with open arms when they ask for your vote during their re-election efforts in August.

The Wyoming Senate Republicans continue clinging to failed gun free zone policies like those in San Bernardino, CA, where a “vetted” government employee gunned down innocent victims — in a gun free zone.
By contrast, neighboring Utah has allowed carry by ordinary citizens in so-called sensitive areas (Gov Buildings, Schools and Colleges) for almost two decades.

California’s State Senate is controlled by 26 Democrats, Wyoming by 26 Republicans and Utah by 24 Republicans. California’s Senate Democrats publicly demand more gun control.
The majority of Wyoming Republican Senators say they are pro-gun on the campaign trail, but once safely in office, act no different than their California counterparts.
In many States, the anti-gun politicians have a problem because they know what happens to their anti-gun colleagues during elections. But in so-called conservative Wyoming, most voters don’t even know how their Senator votes.
Enough is enough! It’s time change Wyoming’s uninformed voter status.

Dudley doesn’t do anything but take credit, and money, for what the long term “real” gun lobbyists like the NRA, Second Amendment Foundation, CCRKBA, Gun Owners of America, etc, are doing. Very similar to the Senate in Tennessee, all the members who are Republican want to tout their support for the 2nd amendment, all the while it is still a crime to carry a loaded firearm off of personal property. They will sell you a permit, via Handgun Carry Permit or Hunting License, but either way it is a tax on a God given right.
Unarmed victim zones get people killed. Some people, often legislators, think that a law solves problems. Laws define problems and set punishments. If laws solved problems cops would not need to carry guns and soldiers would never have to go to war. Thankfully we live in a land of laws. Laws maintain order and deter chaos. But laws that create gun-free zones give criminals an opportunity to wreak havoc and chaos upon otherwise law-abiding citizens. Criminals know this and that is why we continue to witness cowardly shootings in schools and other places where gun-free zone laws are enacted. As such, gun-free zones have become shooting galleries for the criminal element. Common sense, people.

First let me say I don’t live in Wyoming so I can’t vote there (I guess unless I was a Democrat or an illegal alien). However, I do have disposable income and am retired, so I routinely travel. I choose to see movies, purchase items, and travel to places that are “gun and freedom friendly.” If states like Wyoming want my “tourist and hunter” dollars, they must demonstrate they are gun and freedom friendly. 100% in agreement Mike. I too travel the USA by motorcycle every year. It becomes a real PIA to be sure to follow all the different laws. I try to do so but at the same time, concealed means concealed so I have been guilty of inadvertently breaking the laws in some places. Too bad, so sad…. I will continue to carry and will try to follow the law, but if I don’t I have a great lawyer!
You have an excellent idea. I am hoping that the liberal democrats will be recognized for what they are. I could fill in the blanks with a list of adjectives but you can do this yourself. The onus is for republicans to get out and vote to replace the inept and ignorant people who are now in office It is sad to see Wyoming in this situation and as a Colorado citizen can identify with you. local restictions are never posted where those passing through can know about them. Its part of the local revenue generation scheme. The problem with the election process in Wyoming is that too many voters wait to vote in November and just skip the primary in August. But in Wyoming, the election in August is really the one were the majority of the seats are won or lost. If you wait until November to vote, the candidate you want to vote for may not be there. What are the gun free zones? Just schools and government buildings?
Government buildings, Schools and college campuses are gun free zones in Wyoming.
Also medical bldgs and offices.
Hospitals are not technically gun-free zones, since they are private property, and the government does not dictate what policy a property owner decides for their property. Hospitals can set their own policy on posession of firearms, but it is not a gun-free zone, those are mandated by state and federal law for properties and buildings within their jurisdictions.
All Hospitals are ‘not’ private property. Most hospital property has been bought and paid for by public funds — making it public property.
Here in Washington state we found how safe gun free zones are at the Puyallup fair last year. Though we had a large police presence three vendors were robbed and the monkeys ran out the gate to a get away car.
I think it is time for Wyoming to take its garbage out.

Agreed. Start at the local / county levels to fill the vacated public offices. Once the people understand the fraud of the 14th amendment and search for the REAL 13th amendment, then maybe something can get done. In the meantime, it’s business as usual to the detriment of the people.
