St. George, UT -(AmmoLand.com)- The Cobalt Kinetics Shooting Team was in Texas over the weekend for the Texas 3 Gun Championship.

The team faced a slew of technically demanding stages that pushed their skills to the edge. Long rifle and pistol shots combined with 100-yard shotgun slug shots and a 10 bird skeet stage tested the shooter’s skills with all three guns.

The Texas 3 Gun Championship hosted 251 shooters participating in one of two divisions, tactical or limited. The Cobalt Kinetics Shooting Team racked up 8 stage wins between the two divisions. When the dust settled: Keith Garcia took 3rd place in tactical, Rick Birdsall won the limited division, and Nick Atkinson won the tactical division, and was High Texan.

The Cobalt Kinetics Shooting Team had an outstanding performance in Texas, let’s see if they can keep the ball rolling this weekend when they hit Las Vegas.

They’ll be in action again at the USPSA Multigun National Championships on April 15-17th.
