Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- The House State, Veterans and Military Affairs Committee held a hearing on multiple pro-gun bills last night, including Senate Bill 113.

SB 113 sought to repeal the arbitrary and misguided ban on firearm magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds of ammunition.  With testimony carrying the hearing into the early morning hours, the House Committee voted to indefinitely postpone SB 113 on a party-line vote.  2016 now goes down in the books as another year that anti-gun lawmakers decided to push their own political agenda instead of protecting the right to self-defense of their constituents.

Thank you to NRA members and Second Amendment supporters who contacted their legislators and showed up to testify in support of this pro-gun legislation.  Also, thank you to those legislators who supported Coloradans’ right to self-defense by supporting SB 113.

Your NRA-ILA will continue to fight to protect your Second Amendment rights in The Centennial State and keep you updated as more information becomes available.
