Reaching past practical hunting and tactical night sights for pistols, rifles and shotguns, XS Sights’ new product ingenuity into gunsmith and armorers’ tools is a direct result of shooters making products for shooters. Ideas stem from every department of the company.
“The new XS Armorer’s Block is the perfect tool for AR enthusiasts,” said Production Manager Monte Long, who worked directly with Bo Wallace and Will Cobb to push his idea from concept to machined reality. “It allows shooters to easily build, modify and maintain their AR pattern rifles, be they M4, AR-10 or DPMS GII. It is definitely one of the handiest and most used tools on my workbench.”
This product, designed to allow users to secure the receiver to the XS Armorer’s Block, is made for gunsmiths. Users assemble, modify or maintain the firearm by securing the upper receiver’s takedown pinholes. Various sets of pinholes allow the block to accommodate a variety of AR-pattern, modern sporting rifles, including AR-15/M4, AR-10, SR-25 and DPMS GII.
Features of the XS Armorer’s Block for AR Platforms include:
- 100 percent American-made from 6061 T6 aluminum alloy
- Raw aluminum finish
- Fits the majority of AR platforms (except .300 Win Mag and Daniel Defense .308)
The suggested retail price for the XS Armorer’s Block for AR Platforms is $75.
