Gunpocalypse Passes; Heading Quickly to Governor

Sacramento, CA -(AmmoLand.com)- It happened.

They passed 5 of the worst anti-gun bills we have ever seen.

It was supposed to happen in complete secrecy until we announced it last Friday.

And for most, it was done in complete secret because the web feed we sent you earlier had a “convenient” feed error.

Now these bills head to the Senate Floor, but based off of the lack of respect they have shown to the process this far, we can probably assume the outcome before they vote on most of them.

That’s why we need you to get active and start contacting the Governor to tell him to VETO these bills when they are passed out of the Senate as early as this Thursday.

TELL GOVERNOR BROWN TO VETO GUNPOCALYPSE

The bills are as follows:

  • AB 1664 (Levine): Bans common and constitutionally protected firearms that have magazine locking devices.
  • AB 1673 (Gipson): Redefines “firearms” to include items that are not firearms.
  • AB 1674 (Santiago): Bans buying more than one firearm within a 30-day period.
  • AB 1695 (Bonta): Makes some non-violent misdemeanors punishable by prohibitions on owning firearms.
  • AB 2607 (Ting): Dramatically expands who can request a Gun Violence Restraining order.

Stop These Insane Bills

These bills could be to the Governor as early as Friday!

This is not a drill. We need YOU to get active NOW!

Take 30 seconds and sign the petition asking the Governor to veto these bills.

After you sign, call Governor Brown and ask that he veto the five bills listed above: (916) 445-2841

It can mean the difference between victory or failure.

Help us STOP Gunpocalypse before it becomes the law of the land.

For Liberty,

Richard Thomson
Grassroots Director

To allamericanmark & Dave, Yep, that’s exactly what I did in ’99. If I’d have known what I know now (see my post above), I wouldn’t have allowed those oral fornicators in Sacramento to run me off without a fight from the state that I grew up in, where my friends are, and where I enjoyed living. Sooner or later we’re all going to have to fight or each State will fall to the libtards and their unconstitutional regulations (not laws. The Constitution is the law!). Whether that fight is in the courts or on fields of honor in armed… Read more »

Hey, fellow gun owners who live in California … MOVE. I realize it is not easy. Frankly, it sucks (I’ve done it 12 times in my adult life). BUT, you are on a ship constructed out of the Second Amendment, and it is sinking. Fast. If these politicians don’t want their responsible, tax-paying, contributing, law-abiding gun-owning citizens to have guns, then so be it. Move to a 2A-friendly state and experience the joys of shooting more and reloading less. Let California continue to melt away into the gun-hating abyss it truly is. And, be happy you and your family now… Read more »

Gun owners are also the same people who actually work and pay the bulk of CA’s taxes. Wake up and MOVE OUT of CA! I’m a NY refugee living in the southwest, and it’s been great! A fraction of the axes, & gun laws. The folks are nicer, the weather is great, and I can live FREE! Do the right thing and flee the fascism rising up in CA before they outlaw that too!

Y’all out there in Commiefornia gotta start playing hardball with these usurpers. Luckily, there are federal laws on the books that allow us to do so. (Look ’em up.) First, there is Title 18, USC, Sec. 241. This is the “Conspiracy Against Rights” law. It makes it a federal felony for two of more persons (including legislators) to conspire to deprive anyone of a right secured by the U.S. Constitution. This can be used against both legislators and anti-gun groups that lobby anything that would curtail a right. This law carries the penalty of ten years to life in Leavenworth… Read more »

There is a complete certainty that these bills will be signed. If the Californians wanted to live a free life they should have remembered the old adage when their beloved governor ran for office a number of years ago. ” If it’s Brown, flush it”

Sound collision warning, abandon ship [of state]. All Citizens of United States, who think the Second Amendment means exactly what it says, pack up your guns, homes and businesses and family and movd to Arizona, leaving any desire for the cradle to grave socialist state behind.
Leave California to perish under the weight of a population of illegals in sanctuary cities with no workers/tax payers left in the state.

Call Gov. Brown for what ? To tell him not to sign these wonderful new bills ? Serious ? California,a real firearms owners paradise. I wonder if people in CA shoot as bad as they vote ?

Tionico

the few that do shoot do so very well. Problem is that so many decent folk have left this liberturdian pair of dice there aren’t enough left to vote decent lawmakers into office any more, Add to this equation the fact that so many who remain in that ridiculous place depend on money from everyone else, and GET it when the same policitianc who feed the lazy promote insane laws like these. Every one of the lawmekers who promoted, cosigned, sponsored any of these bills SHOUD be run up on perjury charges. Swearing an oath then breaking it rises to… Read more »

TIME TO RAMP UP THE BLACK MARKET GUN TRADE……MONEY TO BE MADE AND WHILE THE HONEST GUY GETS SCREWED THE CRIMINAL’S GET RICH AND GANGS GET STRONGER AND WHEN POLICE LOOSE CONTROL WHO GETS A SECOND SCREWING? CALI PEOPLE NEED TO GET GUNS ANYWAY THEY CAN…

and keep any and all weapons mags etc……Where’s that freekin earthquake I was promised all my life

oldshooter

In fact, I suspect that is exactly what will happen. The black market in firearms will expand, and people will be secretly buying all kinds of guns, without any restrictions, since they are getting them illegally anyway. So legal restrictions on what you can buy or own will soon become irrelevant. Is that what “Moonbeam” really wants? No, but he’s too stupid to realize it’s what he’ll get. And once the black market starts expanding, just as happened with drugs, it will spread into all areas of the state until buying guns illegally becomes the norm for large numbers of… Read more »

Maybe the scenario you laid out is exactly what the globalist, libard, fascist psychopaths actually seek. Their Agenda 21 plan requires that 2/3 of the world’s population be eradicated by 2030. Wouldn’t lawlessness and anarchy be the exact thing needed to declare martial law, round up all of the undesirables (conservatives) and throw us all in reeducation (extermination) camps? They can’t do it while we’re still armed because we’re strong and a threat to them, but disarm us and can have their way with us. An unconstitutional police state using the police as canon-fodder would be a way to both… Read more »
