USA -( We'll start off the show by talking to Erin O'Connor, the Director of Communciations for the US Forest Service who explains what “Fire Borrowing” is and why this has created a funding crisis for the organization that results in closed roads, trails and campgrounds on our public lands.

We've also got a couple of salmon fishing derbies to tell you about in the northwest to include the Brewster Salmon Derby on the Upper Columbia River where $20,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded.

If you are looking to buy your first saltwater fishing boat be sure to listen to the advice Kelly Hawley with Tom N' Jerry's Boat Center has for you and Ron Spada with the Sauvie Island Duck Club has some suggestions on things you should be doing now to get ready for waterfowl hunting season this fall!
