USA –  -(Ammoland.com)- There is a perception that our government is taking more and more of our rights away.

This perception has led to the formation of Patriots groups.

Through researching these Patriots groups for an upcoming untitled book I discovered several small specialized groups that act as quick response forces. Membership and exact training are a closely guarded secrets, but I was able to land an interview with Tim Delpiero.

Tim is one of the only publicly known members of “Ghost Of Our Forefathers”. Ghost as it is called is one of these quick response forces with chapters in three states.

Tim is the national leader of Ghost and agreed to sit down with me for this interview.

John Crump: Hi Tim, How are you today?

Tim Delpiero: I’m good. Thanks for asking.

John Crump: Tim, give us some background on yourself?

Tim Delpiero: In 2009 I joined the United States Marine Corp and progressed through the ranks to sergeant. Then I EAS’ed [End Of Service]. Shortly before I left the Marines I noticed the country was on a downward slope. A lot of negative changes were happening. The government was taking away more of our rights and because of this I wanted to get more involved locally and I was trying to see if there was any militias or anything like that out there that I could join.

I couldn’t find anything until shortly after I formed Ghost. Because I could not find anything I wanted to be a part of for a very long time a friend mine and myself got together and decided it was time to do something. We tossed around ideas for a few weeks and the idea to start something ourselves came up.

We decided to form Ghost with the long term goals to return the country to where our forefathers wanted it. There was little restrictions on our rights. There were no licenses or permits required to exercise our rights. We wanted to return to the ideas of our Forefathers. That is where the name came from and we have grown so much bigger than I could ever imagine.

John Crump: What exactly is Ghost of Our Forefathers?

Tim Delpiero: Ghost of Our Forefathers is a sub-chapter of “III% United Patriots of Virginia” ( https://www.3upva.com/). We are part of 3UP [III% United Patriots], but we are more of a quick response force. If something bad was to happen tomorrow anybody who is involved with Ghost would be the first ones to get their gear and get on the road and established a safe way of travel to that 3UP chapter’s rally point and set up an initial defense at the rally point. We also act as a QRF [quick response force] to protect innocent people in the cities. Our job is to be the first ones to be out there to protect our members and the citizens.

John Crump: Could you give an example of how a QRF would be used?

Tim Delpiero: Sure, Let’s say a large group of people are approaching a rally point. We would send out a small group to see what weapons they had, how many they are, and who they are. That information would be used to set up a proper defense. The initial defense would be lead by Ghost and supported by the rest of 3UP.

John Crump: How many members do you have in Ghost?

Tim Delpiero: Without giving an exact number we are in the 100s that are active in the state of Virginia. That is not including other states.

John Crump: What other states are you in and are you planning on expanding more?

Tim Delpiero: We have chapters in Tennessee and a new chapter forming in New York I have been working with. We are looking to expand if we can find the right people. We are not a facebook group. We are an active group that trains together.

John Crump: How would someone join Ghost of Our Forefathers?

Tim Delpiero: Right now a prerequisite is a love for your country. You need to be a patriot. Virginia is under 3UP. Tennessee is not under 3UP. New York will be under 3UP. I would like to keep as many under 3UP as possible, but that is not a requirement. The only requirement is that you are ready to go protect the rights of your children and the people of your country.

John Crump: What type of training does Ghost do?

Tim Delpiero: I am not going to go into the exact training we do, but I will say it is defensive training.

John Crump: Where do you see Ghost going?

Tim Delpiero: I would like to see us keep growing. I would like to see Ghost in every city and every town. I would love to see a Ghost group for each chapter of 3UP. I would love to see us emulate what we have in Virginia across the country.

John Crump: Where do you see the country going?

Tim Delpiero: I hate to say it, but I don’t see it going in the greatest of directions. Since the last two elections I have seen the size the military drop substantially. I have seen military pay drop substantially. I have watched rights being taken away, but even before those elections, rights were being taken away. We have to get a permit to exercise our first amendment right! We have to get a permit to carry a gun concealed which we are guaranteed the right to bare arms by the 2nd amendment. You are seeing small pieces of the 4th amendment being taken away left and right.

When you take away the rights of people you are setting yourself up for a tyrannical government. From where I stand we look more like the colonies under British rule more than any other time since the Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War was partially started over a tax on tea for God’s sake. Then in 1775 the British tried to confiscate firearms from the people. Then in 1776 we declared our independence and we are in worse shape now than we were then.

I feel like we are just letting it happen. In the next 5 to 10 years we are going to end up with more rights gone and having a much harder like protecting the rights we know and love. That is a problem to me when you take away the freedoms that so many people love and care about.

John Crump: What should the average citizen do?

Tim Delpiero: Don’t take your rights for granted. Exercise them as much as possible Show these people in government that we use these rights on a daily basis and they do not have ability to take away these rights. Let them know you will stand up and fight for your rights. Our rights come from our creator and are recognized in the Constitution as laid out by our forefathers. Let it be known that these are our rights and they can’t have them.

John Crump: If someone wanted to contact you about joining Ghost or setting up a chapter how should they go about doing it?

Tim Delpiero: They can email us at [email protected] or at our new Facebook information page that just launched today at https://www.facebook.com/Ghosts-of-our-Forefathers-information-page-1032434750166466/

Ghost Of Our Forefathers is one of the fastest growing “QRF type” patriot groups in the country and recently assisted businesses and citizens during the West Virginia flooding.

This is a really good idea. Maybe we all should make quick reaction agreements with our neighbors and friends. I live way out in the country. If an unwanted group showed up at my place I would automatically be out numbered. Even the county sheriff’s deputies are two hours away. If I could call my fellow Elks, at least some people would be on the way, while I made a defense of Ft Huachuca.
