Virginia –-(Ammoland.com)- Following the FBI’s stunning and unprecedented announcement, the NRA released “We Don’t Need You!”

The new commercial features Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre, who stands up for hard-working, law-abiding Americans who’ve been subjected to the tyranny of global elitists for far too long: “America was founded to escape the elites. But today, they run our country.”

LaPierre’s timely message calls out the back room dealings of elites who increasingly threaten the survivial of American values such as equality of law and justice. They work together in some newsrooms and boardrooms and Washington back rooms, and star-studded, champagne fundraisers, to decide for the rest of us what’s news and what’s not, what’s true and what’s not, who gets protected, who goes to prison,” says LaPierre. As he points out, there is no longer any difference between the self-serving politicians, their friends in corrupt bureaucracies and deceitful media outlets and the Hollywood hypocrites who bankroll them. The rules don’t apply to these elites.

They think they know better and self-righteously believe they can do no wrong.

But to these people whose egomaniacal air of superiority threatens to destroy our great country, LaPierre says what a majority of patriotic Americans have been thinking for a long time, “We don’t trust you. We don’t fear you. And we don’t need you.”

“We Don’t Need You!” is the latest in the NRA’s Freedom’s Safest Place campaign, which features strong, honest messages from NRA members who include United States Marine Corps Veteran and Benghazi hero Mark Geist, NRA News commentator Dana Loesch, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke and many more patriots who are telling the truth about our freedoms and our Second Amendment.

Watch the video below and if you believe that the law should apply equally to every American—no matter one’s wealth, political connections or last name—share it with your friends, family and on social media.

America was founded to escape the elites. But today, they run our country. There is no longer any difference between our politicians and the elite media who report on them … and the Hollywood elites who bankroll them both. They work together in some newsrooms and boardrooms and Washington back rooms … and star-studded, champagne fundraisers … to decide for the rest of us what’s news and what’s not … what’s true and what’s not … who gets protected … who goes to prison … who gets our money … and who gets our vote. These elites threaten our very survival, and to them we say: We don’t trust you. We don’t fear you. And we don’t need you. Take your hands off our future. I’m the National Rifle Association of America. And I’m freedom’s safest place.

Raise the voting age to 30 years old. If you have a mortgage then you can vote at age 26. Children are too impressionable to make up their own minds. They fall to the left easily due to mass media influence and are too close minded to hear the logical side of reality. They should not be able to vote until they are more mature.

@William Springer – The 26th Amendment lowered the voting age to 18 on January 23rd, 1964. This was during the Viet Nam War. I suppose the logic behind the change was if you could be ‘drafted’ and die for your country you should have more of a voice in the ‘political process’.

Good comments by most!

What we need most is action in place of talk (as in posting on these internet discussions).
It is my opinion that we need more people familiar with recent writings such as ‘Unintended Consequences’ (by Jack Ross) and the Bracken Trilogy (three books by Matt Bracken).

I totally agree with Wayne LaPierre’s statement. We need to stand up together in masses to take back the control of our once great country. Last night I finally heard some positive words out of U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan. He stated everything that FBI director Comey said in his supposed findings of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may have been given preferential treatment from the FBI in its investigation, and vowed to hold sessions to have Comey explain his decision. That should be interesting to watch. I wonder if Comey is asking Crooked Hillary to give him lessons on… Read more »

When the SHTF, watch these elites head for the airports.. They will flee to Europe after electronically looting the treasury and all they can take from the American public. If Europe doesn’t give them asylum, Saudia Arabia will take them in.

Saudi Arabia sounds like a great final destination for these pieces of filth. Once they are well settled in and all comfy in their tents, sharia will eventually come round to deal with them. Only with this lot, they won’t have direct access to the elites, their pals, who would, here, be able to dig them out from under the pile of their own manure that magically falls upon them. One of the major differences between the late Baby Boomers and younger generations, and the early BB and before, is that as the earlier ones were growing uo, we were… Read more »

The silent majority and religious right have one thing in common. They have been sitting things out because of their arrogant self righteous attitudes. It is time to take action. This is get up off your duff, stand like a man, put on big boys pants, quit whining about Trump and elect him and any republican running.. Want change?? Well Trump in the White House and a super majority in the House and Senate will straighten out many problems very quickly.

James Comey has perverted the purpose of the FBI from investigation to coverup, although his handlers can not be very happy about the way he demonstrated Hillary Clinton’s guilt. Trump is not the stepping stone to dismantling the elitist “fix is in” system of government in the U.S… he is the roter-rootter. Because every email and phone call and civilian band radio transmission is captureable and distruptable by the federal government, I suggest that the Minute Man system be revived. Make an agreement with your friends and neighbors to come to your house, when the feds show up. In turn,… Read more »

Right on, fight back by buying a gift NRA membership for a family member or friend. Use guns or ammo as the ultimate gift. Don’t forget to use your vote!

The Silent Majority has been silent too long. We need to blast back. I heard a woman yeaterday praising the FBI, I told her how I felt and she backed down. We have to start doing that, on social media as well. Show our colors with bumper sitickers, flags, dont support who supports what we do not believe in. Lets rally, get out and vote, be heard. We are turning into a country lead by tyrants, where does that stop. This FBI thing is too obvious, and too down our throat. Enough is enough. Me, my wife and daughter just… Read more »

Sadly, we knew the fix was in. In some ways, Comey’s announcement reminded me of Mark Anthony’s speech in “Julius Caesar” ( Act 3, Scene 2 ) but in a “reversed” way….damning Clinton rather than praising her.

But on a positive note, Trump’s poll numbers will probably increase significantly.

Comey had to do as he was told, but he didn’t like betraying his country, so he shredded hiLiary’s defenses in front of the American people. This should not keep Comey of the hypothetical post-revolution list of persons to be executed.

It would do no good to have a revolution and not call the guilty to account afterwords. If you think things through, you will see that I am right (hypothetically speaking of course).

Now is the time to get in line and support Donald Trump. He stands for all our values that the NRA is talking about. Now is the time to take our country back. O.K; Swillary is going to get away with it folks. But we the people have the power to stop her from being elected. Simply do not vote for her as she represents the elitist scum running this country. This election is clear. You can be scum, or you can take your country back that we love so much! Middle America, and the silent majority, this is our… Read more »

I have loved the NRA ads since they started and this is the best. It is exactly why they fear us and want to take our guns in the first place. It is refreshing to hear a REAL leader stand up and say what us “god fearing gun loving” types have been saying for a long time. The original content of the second amendment was to protect us from our own government. People forget that.

That is what’s wrong the silent majority needs to speak out about this and other injustice and trinary. Its time to but these elites where they belong in the trash. We have to speak up before it to late and we become slaves to the socialist government.

Then why don’t the representatives of the “silent majority” vote to remove big money from politics? Why do they support Citizens United?

“Why don’t the representatives of the ‘silent majority’ vote to remove big money from politics?” Mostly because there are not enough ‘representatives’ who actually DO represent the ‘silent majority’. The few who do, and try to do ‘the right thing’, find themselves out-voted on any action they attempt to take. Others seek office with all the right motives; but, when elected, find the allure of the money and power and the influence of the “Good Ol’ Boys” too hard to withstand and they soon become part of the problem instead of part of the solution. I see two things being… Read more »

So let me get this straight, you, and others replying are intent on only supporting and voting for politicians who are wholly behind getting big money out of politics by means of e.g. publicly funded campaigns (leveling the playing field and closing the door to special interest money) and banning of donations from special interest lobbies at all times? How else do you keep the influence of “elitists” out of government without picking and choosing whose influence you want to brand as elitist or non-elitist?
