Glenwood, AL -(AmmoLand)- The quest by Pursuit Channel to become America’s most important provider of independently produced outdoor programming took another giant step forward in 2016 when Fios by Verizon and Prism TV by CenturyLink signed separate carriage agreements to make Pursuit Channel in full high-definition available to all of their respective subscribers in the United States.
The on-air rollout of Pursuit Channel HD to millions of customers who enjoy Fios by Verizon’s state-of-the-art, all-fiber, cable television and internet service was completed July 1, 2016. Pursuit HD on Prism by CenturyLink begins later this summer.
“Becoming available to millions of Fios by Verizon HD cable customers, as well as CenturyLink’s large and expanding cable footprint, represents about eight years of keeping our partners first,” said Rusty Faulk, CEO and Founder of Pursuit Channel. “And when I say partners, first to mind is always our producers – the best in the business, providing some of the most exciting, conservation-driven programming in the world.”
Dennis Presley of MOOSE Media added: “Through DIRECTV and DISH Network, we’ve been the dominate force with basic-tier satellite distribution for years and years. Now we’re officially up-shifting a winning streak in producer recruitment and cable distribution that hasn’t been seen in a long time.”
Prominent series premiers and all-new episodes of long-running television brands featured on Pursuit for 2016 include: Remington Country; ARO TV; Primal Instinct TV; Reaper Outdoors; Bloodline with Alex Rutledge; Silent Draw Outdoors; The Best of the West; Destination TQ; Horns and Hooks with Rex Peterson; Wallhanger TV; American Airgunner; Winchester & Drury’s Natural Born; Avian X; Ducks Unlimited TV; NWTF 365; Game Keepers of Mossy Oak; Mossy Oak Deer Thugs; Shoot Straight with Chad Schearer; Ultimate Outdoors; The Grind Waterfowl TV; Brush Country Monsters; The Bear Whisperer; Canadian Whitetail TV; The Honey Brake Experience; Into the Wild and The High Road with Keith Warren.
