Australia -(AmmoLand.com)- It's obviously too early to draw conclusions from the recent Federal Election but one thing which is clear is the harmony in which our shooting industry pulled together for this election.
It's a great precursor for what you can expect to see from us at the Victorian State Election in 2018.
That may not mean much to those of you in other states or overseas at first pass, but be aware that it marks a really solid gathering of shooters, 20 years after we suffered at the hands of a mad man.
A political mad man.
You might wonder why it took 20 years. The reality is that politicians took advantage of the relatively diverse and non-political positions taken by the shooting fraternity at the time.
Now they can't – but we still need to deliver. Let's see how that goes.
