USA –  -(Ammoland.com)- Somewhere, everyday in the USA, 2100+ people use a gun for self defense, to stop a crime or save the lives of themselves or their family.

“We believe that the American public deserve to understand that on the average, guns save 2,191 lives and are used to thwart crimes every day,” says Alan Gottlieb of the Second Amendment Foundation

Most times you won't see these tales on the news as it does not fit the main stream media's story line of “Guns and Gun Owners are Bad“.

This is just one of those stories;

A pair of 12 and 13-year-old sisters were by themselves in their home in Snow Camp, N.C. when three men approached the house and knocked on the door.

The older sister did not recognize the men, prompting her to retrieve her father’s rifle. Eventually, the men went to the back of the home and broke in through another door. Once the men were inside, the armed teen leveled the rifle at them. Upon meeting armed resistance, the home invaders fled.

Following the incident, a neighbor praised the girl for her actions, telling a reporter, “To have had that kind of thoughtfulness going on in a time of crisis in her head to where that's what she did, instead of running and hiding. She probably stopped something major from going on.” (WFMY, Greensboro, N.C. 07/24/16)

    North Caeolin, inside an occupied dwelling illegally, too bad she did not squeeze that trigger. Could have removed one or more evil people from the area. How many more homes will these creeps break into?

    I’m happy everything worked out good for the girls. It’s not likely these girls will be programmed by the anti-gun crusaders when they go off to collage.

    And go to the local dog shelter, and get a canine early warning system and combat partner who needs a home! I got eleven of them, and not so much as a Road Runner gets past my ranch house without one of them telling me about it.
